I started “Bobby’s World” in 2009 while playing my first basketball season overseas in Teramo, Italy. The original purpose for blogging was to find a solution to an issue I was having. So many people would ask me the same questions about basketball and/or living in another country over and over and over again. So I decided the best way to avoid repeating myself to my family and friends was to update them on the blog.
Indirectly something more essential was on the horizon for me, a life-changing event occurred from blogging. What started transpiring was that I was rediscovering my passion for writing. In doing so, I ended up posting blogs on topics that intrigued me. I shared my experiences, opinions and learnings and it was a great way to sharpen my writing skills for future endeavors. My film, book and TV pilots wouldn’t be imaginable if I didn’t start blogging. Simply put, blogging changed my life.
