Leadership Program
I partnered up with nonprofit organization Compton YouthBuild and created a 3-month leadership course. I believe documenting your life is an important step of learning how to own your history, understanding the various job opportunities behind the camera and becoming a better leader. The Leadership program also included breaking down positive/negative stereotypes of Compton through tv shows, films and music videos from the last 40 years. Guest speakers and field trips visiting inspiring landmarks will serve as a reminder of the greatness within Compton.
